Hazardous Waste Registration

From the 16th July, 2005 business premises that produce hazardous waste (chemicals, monitors, computers, fridges, tubes etc.) need to be registered with the Environment Agency as a `Hazardous Waste Producer`. This registration (premises code) is needed before any hazardous waste can be removed for disposal. Cutting Edge can register your firm for you (for a small fee). The registration is valid for twelve months from the date of registration, and can be renewed one month in advance of the expiry date. All hazardous waste taken for disposal will have Environment Agency documentation, (either a Consignment Note or Duty of Care) which is completed by us on your behalf. Your premises code is needed for this paperwork.
